At Acakoro School, every day is built around one simple idea: helping children grow - as students, athletes, and responsible young people. Life at the Acakoro campus combines education, football, discipline, and community, creating an environment where young talents can develop their full potential.
Starting the Day
The day begins early on campus. Students wake up in the dormitories and prepare for the day ahead. After morning routines and breakfast, everyone gets ready for football. The atmosphere is focused but positive - early morning training lasts from 08:00 am until 09:30 am and prepares body and mind for the upcoming classes.
Learning in the Classroom
Classes take place in small groups, allowing teachers to give each student the attention they need. Subjects like mathematics, English, ICT, science, and social studies form the core of the academic program that follows the CBE Curriculum.
At Acakoro, learning is not only about passing exams. It is about building curiosity, responsibility, and confidence. Teachers encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and support one another. At Acakoro School we use a digital classroom.

Lunch and Community Time
Around midday, students come together for lunch. Meals are an important moment for the community - a time to relax, share stories, and recharge for the rest of the day. Living and learning together helps create strong friendships and a sense of belonging.
Afternoon Classes
After lunch, students return to the classroom for the second part of the school day. These afternoon lessons continue to build academic skills and reinforce what has been learned in the morning. This structure ensures that students maintain a strong academic focus while also preparing for their training sessions later in the day.
Training on the Pitch
In the evening, the focus shifts back to the football pitch. Training sessions are structured and professional, led by experienced coaches who emphasize discipline, teamwork, and technical development.
But football at Acakoro is about more than winning matches. It teaches resilience, leadership, and the ability to work toward a shared goal - lessons that stay with students for life.
Study Time and Reflection
After training, students return to the academic side of campus. There is time for homework, reading, and preparing for the next school day. Teachers and staff support students as needed before heading out to dinner.
Growing Together
As the day comes to an end, students relax, spend time with their friends, and reflect on what they have learned. They either have a movie party or sit around the bonfire telling stories. Life at Acakoro is busy, but it is built around purpose.
Every lesson in the classroom and every training session on the pitch contributes to a bigger mission: giving young people the opportunity to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
